The Best Yoga Breathing Techniques for Kids with Stress and Anxiety

By Robyn Parets, Founder of Pretzel Kids

Back to school is stressful. There, I said it.

And it’s not just stressful for you – think about what children are going through as they head back to school 2021. New bus schedules, new teachers, making new friends, a slew of COVID safety guidelines – and that’s only the beginning.

As for you, you likely already have your plate full. Between your job, managing your household and finances, and trying to prioritize your own self-care, well, it’s A LOT!

So, to help you ease into fall and better manage your stress – and your kids’ anxiety – we created a Youtube kids breathing exercise video featuring one of our favorite breathing exercises for kids: Balloon breath!

We think this is one of the best yoga breathing techniques for kids with stress and anxiety. Check it out!

Why not Become a Kids Yoga Teacher?

As you probably know by now, we are all experiencing very stressful times. But, if you love working with children and think teaching youth yoga would be fun, well then, maybe you should consider becoming a children’s yoga instructor!

Whether you’re interested in doing yoga with kids, teaching them how to meditate, or teaching yoga in schools, the sky’s the limit. There is high demand for yoga teachers and this is one of the most personally fulfilling careers in the world (IMHO).

Are you ready to give it a go? We’re there to support you every step of the way!
