Why is Yoga Important for Kids?

Let’s discuss why yoga is important for kids

As adults, we tend to think that kids’ lives are a piece of cake (pun intended!) But they often struggle with anxiety too, whether this stems from school, peers or family.

There are many factors that can increase stress for children. Thankfully there are also ways to help them cope with difficult situations. Just this helps adults deal with stressors, it also is proven that yoga for kids can help reduce stress and anxiety. Apparently no age is resilient to the benefits of movement and breathwork!

The earlier that you introduce asana into kids’ lives, the better. There are even some toddlers out there rocking their downward facing dog!

Now: Are you ready to plan a stress-free party? Well, maybe not entirely stress-free but we can meditate on this, right?

What to expect from a kids yoga party?

Where should I do a yoga party?

Wherever.

We know, we have clever answers in this post; we learned it from our parents. But truly, you can throw a party wherever you want. You can have a class outdoors if the weather is accommodating, but if the skies are gloomy you can take it inside and have a cozy yoga party in your living room. Yoga parties are a year-round kind-of-thing!
