Meet Cassandra G. Fragoso, our September 2019 featured Pretzel Kids yoga teacher!
Cassandra, 27, lives in Orange County, Ca. with her husband and six-year-old son. She grew up in Southern California with her mom and grandparents.
With a background in marketing, Cassandra was looking for another form of income that she felt would fulfill her purpose. Pretzel Kids was the answer! She loves helping kids get healthy and Pretzel Kids has led to many other great opportunities for Cassandra!
We were excited to talk to Cassandra about her journey with Pretzel Kids yoga.
Here’s what she had to say:
Pretzel Kids: Tell us a bit more about you.
Cassandra: My mom took me to my first yoga class when I was 10. I started a career in marketing but it didn’t fulfill my passion and purpose. I knew healing kids and women was what I needed to do to fulfill my heart and Pretzel Kids was the perfect vehicle.
Pretzel Kids: Tell me one fun fact about you (can be anything!)
Cassandra: I’ve been rescuing dogs since I was 16!
Pretzel Kids: What do you like to do in your spare time?
Cassandra: I love yoga, working out, being in nature, staying active and watching great movies or shows with my family. I also love spending time with friends. I’m very social!
Pretzel Kids: What drew you to the Pretzel Kids online course?
Cassandra: What attracted me to Pretzel Kids was the great price of the course and the opportunities that Robyn shared. The opportunities are amazing! Plus, the structure of the training and the Pretzel Kids Method was great and easy to learn.
Pretzel Kids: What is your favorite thing about the course?
Cassandra: My favorite thing about the course and the program is the games and the overall easy structure of the Pretzel Kids Method! The video trainings helped a lot, too.
Pretzel Kids: Did the training and Pretzel Kids Method prepare you to teach children’s yoga?
Cassandra: Yes! I felt very prepared to teach the Pretzel Kids Method even though I had never taught a yoga class before.
Pretzel Kids: How do you hope to make a positive impact with the Pretzel Kids curriculum and classes?
Cassandra: This course has given me a career! I live near the beach cities in Orange County Ca. and yoga is really trendy here. So, I knew Pretzel Kids would be a good vehicle for taking healing to the world.
I actually hope to bring yoga to schools on a larger level one day. So, I also have a goal to volunteer my time teaching free classes to orphaned kids.
Pretzel Kids: You had the opportunity to create Pretzel Kids lesson plans for your classes, as well as your certification process. What is this creative process like? Did this make teaching easier and what was the reception from the kids?
Cassandra: Teaching is healing and fun, and so is creating the lessons. I ask children what things they like to do as well, so I can incorporate that into our class (like skateboarding or playing with a ball!) My kids always have so much fun! The kiddos are really committed and I love it!
Pretzel Kids: Would you recommend the Pretzel Kids course to friends, moms, childcare providers and yoga teachers? Why?
Cassandra: I’d recommend it to anyone actually! Anyone! Pretzel Kids shows you how to do something healthy, fun and entertaining for kids!
Pretzel Kids: What’s your favorite Pretzel Kids pose?
Cassandra: Crab! As well as any partner poses.
Pretzel Kids: What’s your favorite Pretzel Kids game? What’s your favorite Pretzel Kids theme?
Cassandra: My favorite theme is ocean and my favorite game is a toss up between Happiness Bubble and Yogi Go, Yogi Stop.
Pretzel Kids: What’s your favorite food?
